WaterTrek 360 looks at boat diving some kelp beds off of Catalina  Island. Most of my diving has been in cold waters off of New York / New  England.  Here is my experience diving the cold waters of Catalina in  February, 55 degrees, off a boat that leaves from San Pedro CA.
